Starved Rock State Park is a beautiful wilderness area located on the Illinois River in the U.S. state of Illinois. It’s known for its steep sandstone canyons formed by glacial meltwater. Several, including the St. Louis, French, and Wildcat canyons, have waterfalls. A wooded trail leads to Lover’s Leap Overlook, with views of the river and Starved Rock Dam. Park wildlife includes white-tailed deer, bald eagles, and migratory birds. To celebrate the park in the style of vintage poster art, the artists of Anderson Design Group have created this classic design inspired by vintage 20th-Century travel posters and state park art. Enjoy this print as a framed print, canvas, metal sign, postcard, or note card. To learn more about the state park or to plan a trip there, visit the website for Illinois State Parks.
